Robin
I have to wonder, now that I am seeing that there seems to be some sort of obvious corruption in certain places, but I couldnt help but notice that a certain inept 'repairman' was working in more than one place.

Just what is Robin's role in everything?
How the hell has he managed to secure such high-profile jobs when hes shown extremely poor performance in past work, and where hes managed to cause MORE damage than he manages to 'fix'. (And just WHY was he removing all of those wheels to the flood doors in the Bergmann Tunnels?)

Is he just some guy with a silver tongue and friends in places to make certain inqueries vanish? Or is he actually capable but spends more time drinking Osmo Olut/Mushroom Tea and as a result is so far out of it that hes just some big liability?

Personally, I don't think that guy should stay employed in such work much longer, a good chunk of things i saw through his past work sites shows hes not up to the task.

What do you all think?

I thought that Robin went in B2 and went mad there, that this is why he acts so crazy and incompetent all the time. Perhaps he was removing the valves and sabotaging things out of fear of something chasing him.

I thought Robin was working for the dark side until I read his note that is near the end of part one, just before everything goes haywire in the sewer. Remember? It is behind a panel that falls off and then you have to race through the last bits before you get to Alex Hartman's secret room.
Robin sounds really broken up about all the bad stuff that has happened.

All I found was a message that shouldve never been hidden behind the panel in the first place stating to NOT use the override button.

But maybe not all of the sabotage, like the dynamite hidden around can be attributed to Robin. He could be a fall guy and was hired and kept on because he is incompentent and just adds to the confusion. I mean he was trying to help us in the end before he made some technical error and had the generators blow up in our face :)

That mistake alone should cost him his job, hes supposed to know how those things work

Is he supposed to? That's my point he may have been hired because he is not smart.

True, but he shouldn't have a job when alls said and done. Who just allows some random person to mess with delicate controls like the generators? Robin doesnt know who Mark is, theres only supposed to be one other guy there at those generators to begin with.

Question.

By the powers that corruptively be, is it Robin's job to be a sabatour without knowing it?

that's my thoughts. Robin is a bumbling fool and like Silent Woodfire points out he would not still have his job in the real world. The mushrooms are getting to him and messing up his mind.

Well I had a new thought as of lately. Since we did "help" Robin with that genorator...though the end result is a hazardous one. He can blame us for it. Asuming he'll want nothing to do with what happened.

The perfect trap (maybe). Just throwing my thoughts around. Nothing concrete.

That would be quite the ♥♥♥♥ move really.

Also from the chatter I am hearing apparantly theres another power facility to go explore and find fault with.

If Robin somehow has a job there too I say we sue Stahlberg for gross incompetence.

I doubt Stalburg would even acknowledge the lawsuit. They'd be just as likely to make you disappear...

I like the way you think : )

Ha, unfortunately Stalburg does have a bit of a track record for getting rid of people they don't like... what happened to the guy who warned that Open Sewer was structurally unsound, for instance? He got completely slammed by some more powerful people in a meeting, then he's never heard from again...
Not to mention SNW and the metro people...
