...thats the whole idea of the game also, at the point where you need to plug in the cable, you need to unplug it, but than you cant let go of it, because you need to trow the cable over something to reach the other pint.
Trow the Cable the same way you trow a Brick or a Bottle mate... I am pretty sure you didnt get into the Supermarket because there you would have the same isue wen trying to get out by trowing the rope.
Pick up the yellow generator cable, walk through the door to the side where you need to plug it in, Ellie takes a few steps and then stops moving no matter what you do. The game wasn’t frozen, I could open the game menu and rotate the camera, and Ellie would still do her idle animations. But she wouldn’t move, and I couldn’t open my weapon wheel, inventory, or anything else. Needless to say, no button makes her throw the generator cable either.
Quitting to the main menu and starting again “fixed” it. I am playing on permadeath and was worried I’d have to replay the whole chapter, but thankfully it was a safe area. Would have been very upsetting if it happened somewhere that wasn’t safe to quit.
