Report a translation problem
The point is not for the camera to change from being FIXED to the right into being FIXED on the left. Whatever side it is, doesn't matter. Camera should be freed from being _fixed_ to one side only.
This only changes it when aiming, not Melee, or just walking around
Yes, thanks. Unfortunately that doesn't really help while moving / running / roaming. There are constantly situations where the character is already out of cover and visible to enemies, and camera is still obscured by cover (if cover is on the right).
This context-based shoulder swap just won't do - you're easier detected when aiming, you're slower, you can't throw throwables the same way etc.
A normal/global shoulder swap is a must.
Sniper Elite series got it right, Ghost Recon series got it right, just about every action TPS did.
Just not TLOU2.
Put that shoulder swap on the left stick press -> problem solved.
