And it's a great game if you like a modern retro shooter.
Jesus! It was THAT bad?!
Game's pretty awesome, imo lacks a bit of content though, which sucks. Those 2 or 3 episodes would've been great!
Far as the game not selling as well as you hoped- I say a lot has to do with advertizing, or the lack of- I ran into this game on accident, never knew it existed.. and wished (platforming aside) that I had heard of it sooner. I'm not beyond buying friends copies to help a game's sales- and many of my friends, like me- prefer or only play single player and love fps. Character choice and more levels would've been nice, but single player only is right up my alley. I'd rather a dev (especially a solo dev, or one on a small team) stick to single player, and focus all their efforts/resources on making that awesome, versus dividing what little they can do between more than 1mode. Just my opinion.
**P.S. On the Fusion Plant lvl, until this point, the only thing breaking up fast, flowing action was the platforming (grrr), but I just found another- these 'click the buttons in the right order' sections. I did the first half of a 2 part 'puzzle'- nothing against puzzlers, but not a good thing in the middle of a fast paced, old school shooter.. (imho), yeah, some shooters have some puzzles in them, but in a fast paced shooter it slows things down, and when they block progression as this one does- that's even worse. I've ran in circles to the point I almost don't care what's next- this game has some great points, but stuff like this (again, imho) really ruin a great experience, with exceptions. (This is just feedback to help create a better future game, hopefully a Wrack2).
Anyway, you live and you learn!
Enjoy.
