AI?!
This is a good game but AI ruins it. I can barely win some races with easy AI, and besides, everytime is crashing into me. Is AI cheating or something? With similar cars the opponents are faster. Any advices? I guess it's impossible to win on Hard difficulty or higher...

AI are bad when the difficulty is turned down because htey love to brake when you are behind him. Setting the AI difficult is the way to go, and if they are to fast, your line might be very different than the AI's. I say that because that's really the only reason to decrease the level of difficulty and if your line is very different, than yalls racing lines will cross paths often and collisions are inevitable.

I like the AI overall. I've cranked up the difficullty and it's pretty hard. Having been a Forza and Gran turismo veteran it's nice to have a game that is challenging without racing online for a change. If you think the AI is bad just race in public lobbies with your favorite racing game...The racing will be worse.

Never touch AI. Otherwise he becomes a timebomb

the AI will brake early on all difficulties. Until you develop your own lines, I would suggest you to pay attention to their lines, or for starters, have racing lines on. Then in the corners where the AI brake early, you can simply overtake them by braking slightly later. And they do brake really early, so its not a big problem to time it, to brake later than them, but still not so late that you will crash.
And no, its for sure not impossible to win on hard :)

Only chance to beat AI is in corners, in straight line they are faster, no matter they have same car as you. Sadly, this problem is almost in every racing game.

As mentioned by Acarbalancer the AI brake very early and you must use a line into the corners that allows you to get by as many as you can. Allways take the inside line NEVER the outside as they will just ram you off on exit. Dont try pass on the exit of the corner rather use their draft to stay with them till the next corner and pass the next bunch.

Once you are past the AI and have opened a small gap they tend to "give up" and will start lapping at a pace similar to yours.

If you leave doing you "hot" lap until the last lap you will normally get the fastest lap reward as the AI base their lap time on what you have done the laps before.

Actually, I find online racers to be fairer than the AI - strange but true.
