DLC worth it?
Is the dlc really worth $15? I'm not really interested in the touring pack which is about half the price. The only one that really interests me is the drag pack.

Maybe I answered my own question.. but would like feedback from people with the season pass.

Also, that is all the DLC listed there for sale right? Nothing else is coming out?

Touring pack adds two great race tracks as well as the Legends class. Sprint is a great addition too.
Keep in mind that the offline component of all these DLC is rather lacking, so the MP is even more important for the DLCs

The car DLCs are a hit or miss, but most add at least one good car choice.

Yes, this is all DLC that there will be

This is all the DLC that was planned. The only "Bonus" DLC so far as a surprise, was an alternate track skinning (with night option) for the demo derby set, which basically has some TF2 theming to it.

Party is spot-on with his comment on how worthwhile the DLC is. I think the entire pack is worth $15 for my uses, but you won't see the money value pay off unless you play in a group consistently. For that, I recommend our group GRID AutoSport Racers, where we do league events as well as community/casual events every week, even most weeks during off-season :)

Personally, my use of the DLC has been for Sprint tracks (in and out of GASR group), the bonus garage slots and cash, and the XP boost is nice as well. The bonus tracks are also interesting, and I do like Drag :)

Thanks for the replies.. I saw in another post that the black edition wasn't included.. kinda odd. I just went with the drag pack.. couldn't justify the full price considering what I just paid for the game. Game seems pretty fun too.

These cars aren't available in Career, only online. You still have to buy them online for in-game money just like the vanilla ones.

Buying the DLC car packs just makes them "available to buy" in the virtual store. You'll still need ot accrue cash but most cars are not expensive at all, just race for a few hours or even do RaceNet Challenges (not too hard) for big chunks of cash paid-out on Tuesdays.

The black edition of the game, well.. it sounds like DLC but it was built as "special edition" of the core game instead - it comes with some bonus white-color Ravenwest liveries, extra custom livery decals, and the availability to buy a special Mercedes car for one of the car classes, but it's not essential in the least.

No, it's not.

There are 40 car classes in the base game and only in one of them is a DLC car slightly overpowered, that's the McLaren F1 GTR.

“Slightly” is a bit of an understatement there. But otherwise, yes, DLC cars are often good alternatives to vanilla cars, but not overwhelming
Is there any way to obtain this DLC? Like the first 2 games
