Achievements are definitely bugged. Look into this please.
It seems as if I'm like the 50th person to report this after reading the previous discussion posts. I just came back to the game after 8 months or so of not playing it, and I'm unable to get any future achievements. I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling, but please look into this.

Same problem. Reinstall the game started again 3 times, no achievements.

I had this same issue but I fixed it by running the game as administrator, if you don't know how to do this, here's how:

Go to the game's local files, I did this by right-clicking on the game in my steam library, clicking properties, went to the 'local files' tab then clicked on the big 'browse local files' button.

Then right-click on the game executable file, which is the file that opens up the game (it's icon is the game picture), then click on 'run as administrator'.

A message should pop-up asking if you give permission for this application to alter your computer, click 'yes'.

As you unlock achieves, they won't pop-up in-game, in fact even the steam overlay will stop working even if it's enabled, BUT they will be unlocked within your steam profile with correct timestamps :squirtyay:

Just read your post. I will try to see if this will work.

nah it doesn't work, would love to know if this is an issue of steam or the game.

Running it in compatibility mode worked for me too

I have no problems with achievements whatsoever.
But I am always logged as an administrator, probably that is the solution.
