Go to the game's local files, I did this by right-clicking on the game in my steam library, clicking properties, went to the 'local files' tab then clicked on the big 'browse local files' button.
Then right-click on the game executable file, which is the file that opens up the game (it's icon is the game picture), then click on 'run as administrator'.
A message should pop-up asking if you give permission for this application to alter your computer, click 'yes'.
As you unlock achieves, they won't pop-up in-game, in fact even the steam overlay will stop working even if it's enabled, BUT they will be unlocked within your steam profile with correct timestamps
Running it in compatibility mode worked for me too
Works well! Thanks a lot for the tips! :)
But I am always logged as an administrator, probably that is the solution.
