Hi there williew7051980, do you have details? Can you reproduce this? Does it happen on a regular base?

It has never once synced up, since I started playing it. After I close the game, nothing happens on the Steam overlay. It's all good, in that I beat the game and enjoyed it very much. If I was really gung-ho about playing it on both systems, I could look for the save file and transfer it over.

As far as details go, it just doesn't sync. Nothing on my end has ever went to the cloud.

Here are my system details.

Dell XPS 8300

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz

OS: Windows 10 64bit

I have the same problem with Steam Cloud - it is not working in Alcatraz. On my laptop i started to play, and when trying to play on another laptop, then there are no saves. Please do something with it. There is also a problem with loading times between maps - it takes too long, and the game is starting so much longer that it should (this animation of boiling cofee is starting to play on my nerves). Please try to fix those things...

Oh... and my laptops are made by Samsung.

Oh... and if you can not reapair this save synchronization... Can you just tell us where are the saves to manually import them to another PC?

The reason why it doesn't sync eludes us at the moment, do you have the STEAM sync enabled in the game's properties? There is a series of reasons that can meddle with the sync: firewall, anti-virus, etc.

Thank you for the path to saves. :) Yes i have Steam Sync enabled. Its strange 'cos my every game is Steam syncing. Alcatraz is the first game which does not sync.

I have the same situation. I actually finished the game, but the Steam cloud file size is zero and the Alcatraz never synchronized during my gaming times.
My opinion is that Daedalic not fixed yet a bug with the file paths with non-Unicode symbols.

Same here, some hours of gameplay lost ... "Thanks" a lot ...
Btw: most games save in "my documents\my games" or "saved games" but YOU must save them in "locallow" which is quite a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ location for many reasons (like most novice users would have to know how to get hidden folders shown or if someone uses server stored profiles, but I guess you don't care)
