I... seem to be stuck?
Like either I have no idea what to do next, or my game may be bugged. With Joe, I'm currently stuck in a cell and I can't do anything but examine the vents.

And with Christine, I'm able to get to the apartment where the guy is using the typewriter. I have given the bible to the bookkeeper and I can't seem to get anything new nor can I give anything to anyone. I've tried following some walkthroughs but they don't seem to make any sense, as if they just skip past where I'm at and I don't really know what I can do next. Anyone got any possible suggestions on what I can do at this point?

Are you in the single cell, where you can talk to the lizard men?
If so: you have to go to the bar with christine, there is a man that will give you documents, because Joe is in the "Pit".
You have to forge the wardens signature (Viv) and give them back to him, to get Joe out.

or are you in another cell (where you can look out a window, and have a bed=?)
