Ok I'm pretty sure this is NOT how you solve this puzzle (spoilers)
The puzzle is "the four chambers of flying". Here's how I did it:

Pretty sure you actually have to use the fans somehow (I initially thought you had to activate all fans and keep bouncing the connector in the air between them, long enough for it to disable the door blocking the sigil) but I accidentally jumped on top of a wall.
Then I I just did it again, this time carrying the connector, set it on top of the wall and voilá lol, puzzle solved.

I also managed to smuggle a fan out of the room using this method, which allowed me to get the star on top of the obelisk

In "Guides", there's a text-based guide to "proper" solutions. You can check in there. but if you ask me, improper ones are more fun.

lol, that's awesome. Looks like the testing bot slacked off on that one :)
There's a lot of solutions to this one, I solved it by aiming the jammer _above_ the fence through the window. It seems to be only the second least obscure solution, the 'intentional' one is throwing a jammer to the exit with a block on it. Though apparently this level has like 16 different solutions or something.
I solved it the exact same way. I refuse to collect that sigil until I find a better way to do it, though.

Including yours, that's 4 I know of, so far.

By my understanding, bot was only repeating recorded "proper" solutions to check if they are still viable - it was checking whether devs broke something critical in every build iteration.

OK, time to try to follow up on my exaggerated claim (and I won't do things like post 13 images of my solution with a different angle):

#1: Throw a Jammer with a box above to the exit.
#2. Jam from an angle that hits the top of the gate hitbox.
#3. Get a connector high up somehow.
3.5: Get the connector from Behind the Iron Curtain.
#4. Get a jammer high up somehow.
#5. Use a Behind the Iron Curtain connector as a source vantage point.
#6. Go atop where the star is located and slap a connector on it that hits both the red power source and receiver.
#7. You may call this an alternative for #5 but, this is so unique and just barely making it I have to put it here: http://i.imgur.com/2KpNbJ9.jpg
#8. Get a connector OUTSIDE and connect it: http://i.imgur.com/6JU18F0.jpg
#9: Place a block on a fan, and then jump on the block - you'll get a prompt allowing you to jump on a wall, leading to all sorts of stupid solutions!

That is correct, the bot only checks for *a* valid solution. Specifically to the tower ending. It doesn't proceed to the 6th floor, but maybe not too much can break with that sequence.

I did the same thing in SpoilerThrone Room

I've got the beam to activate the fan apparatus on the obelisk; what I can't figure out is how to acquire the missing fan. I can see there is a small, inaccessible room attached to Iron Curtain with a working fan and an extra fan on the ground. How do I get in there?? The crates in that puzzle are all stuck "behind the curtain" so I can't use one of them to climb.

EDIT: Ok, you have to either do it before you complete the puzzle, or reset it.
