A Hitchhiker's Guide to ToME!
And the allusions to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy end there.

Preface:
Hello and welcome to this wonderful guide! No doubt you clicked on this thread because you need help, right? Welcome to ToME, your deaths will be numerous and often but don’t get discouraged, everyone dies! First off, the game is a little bit more complicated than most so the purpose of the guide will be to explain some of those concepts.

Also in case you may doubt the credibility of this guide, here's a few winners:
Nightmare Temporal Warden[te4.org]
Normal Skeleton Brawler[te4.org]
So while I'm not good enough to win on insane (though I will be trying), something I'm doing must be right, even if normal and nightmare are easily winnable if you know what you're doing.
Also feel free to use the skill builds on both those characters (though the TW skill build was courtesy of bpat).
DISCLAIMER: ToME involves A LOT of reading and so does this guide! There is no TL;DR!

Consider posting the guide to the Community Hub's guides section. That will make it easier for other players to find, as the steam overlay will suggest it.

It seems that the ToME Forums have gone down or rather, any post with styling will refuse to show. And in typical ToME fashion, it has not yet been fixed. Sorry about that!

It seems to me that everybody is so hype about this game, and DG as well, but I found the game is full of bugs, and not much effort has been done to fix it, or improve on QoL side... Just my observation, maybe I'm wrong... Currently start playing *finally* after hesitant for so long, lol~
