Hello,

After returning to the game once more (with Wesp5's unofficial plus patch 11.4 installed), I completed a playthrough with a Nosferatu.
As a bit of fun, I wanted to create a Malkavian with protean instead of auspex. I used console commands to sell off the discipline after the intro and get protean, but I noticed that it couldn't be raised above 3 (even with console commands). I thought this might be related to once having had another discipline, so I edited the clandoc and made Malkavians start with 5 dots in protean instead of 1 dot of auspex; however, this removed the third discipline (protean) completely.

Oddly enough, while playing around, I also tried to replace obfuscate with celerity. This worked and I was able to get 5 dots of celerity, so the limit doesn't seem to be related to official clan disciplines.

Does anyone know of a way to level up protean beyond 3 as a Malk?

P.S.: Fortitude also had a maximum of 3 dots, but I don't know what other disciplines are also affected by this.

The conditions are all in traiteffects000.txt which must be copied to traiteffects000 - vampire.txt

Ah, I was looking in the wrong places then (the clandoc and disciplinetgt files)
