Whereas in games like Celeste, its easier to probe things, its easier to return to existing rooms, and it still gives you 32 'return to this point' subchapters throughout the seven A-side chapters that make the core game.
But I'm pretty hesitant to add in any kind of revisit option for a number of reasons, both technical and design related. (But if I was to list just one of the reasons, I think it feels like a bit of a band-aid and I'd rather reduce the need for having it in the first place and go from there.)
