You can watch the demo playthrough and look how long it takes. It is basically a perfect playthrough.
If you are aiming for the daily achievment, you can get it on either of the 3 gamemodes and if you are not able to beat the current leader, come back another time when the leadertime is lower.
1. Total of animations playing time (constant).
2. Total of delays between animations.
Your job is to make the delays as short as possible. The key is to learn the optimal sequence of triggering elements of the puzzle. During longer animations you can rotate and zoom the model (sometimes you have to think ahead). And try to point next element with your mouse before animation stop.

In Settings/Game those parameters are called "Autofocus" and "Maximum Speed".

If you want to get the Serenity achievement (it gives you more points), do not mash buttons. Click on parts using the left mouse button to select and activate them, or use the left mouse button to select a part and the space bar to activate a part. Practice, correct camera angles, and fast clicking will improve your times.
