A reminder on voting for new models.
Be careful when you use Credits to vote for new models. I voted 2,371 times for the Schwarzlose Model 1898 pistol, but I accidentally (I do not know how) spent 500 votes on the Winchester Model 1912 shotgun. When you want to vote, click the "10 (100, 500) Votes" button only once, then click the "Close" button and repeat the process.

To Noble Empire: you do not have to give me Credits back. I want the Model 1912 to be in the game anyway. This shotgun is included in my "shotgun master list".

I had this happen once as well. Don't know if it's a bug, but I've used that same method when voting now, just in case.

The issue with the shooting ranges? I still have the issue. And I also tried the AK shooting range on my second account (the issue remains). To be precise, only the animation of aiming down sights and the position of the view model of a gun freeze when I aim down sights at a range (but the mouse does not move and a gun cannot be reloaded), and I can still fire a gun at a range. I will try to reinstall both Steam and WOG later. If nothing will change, then I will install proprietary GPU and mouse drivers. If the issue will still remain, then I will send you an e-mail. I am still new at Linux.

Here is what it looks like: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2008785852

If you meant the voting bug described above, then you have to test it yourself by giving yourself a lot of Credits and clicking the "10 Votes" button until you reproduce the bug. I do not know what causes this bug.

If you meant crashes of the game, then I do not know what causes them. The game usually crashes in the Paint mode and while playing with complex premium models. There are no crash reports, and I cannot find the output_log.txt file anywhere.

hm we should check it

Has the voting bug been fixed yet? If not, then the game's store page should have a warning about it (and also warnings about the resetting of progresses of inactive players, and errors regarding gun safety/realism).

I was asking about the voting bug. You should have created a simple warning about this problem in the game, on your website, and on your Steam Store page long time ago. My WOG reviews have detailed warnings about problems in the game.

If you truly wanted to fix serious problems, then you would have fixed them long time ago. I don't believe that it's an impossible task for you to create a simple warning. I don't believe that you were unable to find 10 minutes to respond to vader279 in his/her topic.

I have written more than enough about high priority work like fixing serious problems, improving quality, support, convenience. Yet you are more interested in low priority work like making videos for your YouTube channel and creating new artworks. You need to rethink your priorities if you want more than 2,000 dollars up front for a remake of a model.

It's pointless to say obvious things and provide hard evidence since you are not really interested in fixing serious problems.

I can confirm that this is still not fixed. I wanted to give all my credits to vote for the Martini-Henry rifle, and I accidentally wasted 130 of my votes (from my credits) to SIG P365, which I did not want to do. This is a very nasty bug that needs a fix ASAP, but probably the management doesn't care, since it's almost the end of 2024 now, and it is a well known problem since the beginning of 2020. Please, be so kind to actually start working on fixing this bug and escalate the matter to your upper management (i.e. not your direct managers/team leaders/whatever), if necessary!

Mr. Atheist, the more models I inspect, the more flaws I see with WoG in general. I really appreciate your dedication to informing people about things that are factually incorrect and I admire people like you who value truth (whatever it may cost you personally). Thank you!

Thank you! Sadly, my WOG support is very limited because I quit playing.

I updated references for Accuracy International rifles.

The developers only need to:
  • Create clear warnings (about the voting bug, about resetting of progresses of inactive players, and about incorrect models so they can't be used as references) if they can't fix these problems and if they refuse to upgrade their data storage equipment to store progresses.

  • Disable the automatic camera rotation by default. If I remember correctly, the camera rotates automatically when you complete a game mode, in the pause menu, and during the tutorial, and this feature can't be disabled. And they should add an option to enable or disable this feature in the game settings.

  • Help players with their problems with payment.
  • Finish models that were requested for money.
  • Fix (or warn about) other serious problems.
And only then they may create complex artworks and other low priority content. I understand that their company is small, and that it's very difficult to create such models. But they should rethink their priorities if they want money.
