Anyway, when there are patches/updates for the Steam/PC version, will these also come through Oculus updates at the same time (I know Xbox is a different timetable)?
I prefer to launch this through Oculus Home instead of Steam, as I often have audio problems when using steam VR (with all games, not just Subnautica), but I don't want to miss out on any new content.
Thanks for any reply, and keep up the great work!
(I looked for an answer at several places first, but this seemed to be the most likely place to get a response.)
Me to. The only buttons on the controllers that work are the left mini-stick and the A/B buttons which do the same thing. No ability to choose options on the menus. And when you drop into the game it seems to be on constant movement in one random direction so you are just being constantly pushed around. They need to get this sorted.
Move - Left thumb stick
Look left - Right trigger
Look right - Left trigger
Jump - Y button
PDA - left menu button
Exit/holster - B button
Left hand/use - A button
Right hand - X button
Cycle next - Left thumb stick button (no cycle back - not needed)
Reload - Right thumb stick button (yes it does work!)
Move up - Right grip button
Move down - Left grip button
(Note: you can use the keyboard delete key to un-assign buttons)
Only problems left; I couldnt assign a controller key to 'deconstruct' and the X button is a little tricky when fighting enemies with a knife! Otherwise everything is just about playable including the subs (although haven't tried the prawn suit)
**PLEASE** Unknown Worlds - fix the right thumbstick for Oculus! - that's literally all that needs doing for VR to work beautifully! ... Subnautica is still one of the best VR games out there.
