This causes a lot of problems if the gaze cursor is off too. So it would be nice if you could specify a little.
I am not using the KBM at all, just the Quest 3 controllers to get into Linked mode with me pc, playing on tethered, and 8BitDo controller. I have tried gaze based cursor both on and off, neither changes anything. I also used to play it without gaze based cursor and it was fine. I litterally cannot figure out what has changed between now and then, but its being a real pain in my ass. Controller is enabled in settings. I DO have the "Fix VR" mod installed that moves your tablet a little further form your face, and makes all the animations run regardless of being in vr, but thats the only one. maybe ill check for an update for it just to be sure, but i think i already did that... This has been a problem for several months now. :(
Methinks it's the "and" you're using. Two controllers are as confusing to SN as KB and Controller. Just have to make sure the setup matches in steam and in-game options. Assuming you can at least select menus in any way. Then turn off one of the controller sets.
I hope someone else could offer some better insight though.
Hmmm, i had let the vr controllers go to sleep, but i think they have an option to turn them off specifically. worst case i COULD remove batteries, but i don't want to have to do all that if i can avoid it. it would let me know if thats the issue though, so ill give it ago next time i play. The correct controller is set to be the one used for the game in the steam controller settings. I dont think there is a setting to make one the "default" as far as i know, in steam, the correct one is set as default in windows. ill check into seeing if the vr controllers are the issue though. Good idea.
Might be the same with yours, as it's a pretty common method.
