Hard to say without something to measure against. Using the diamond reference in game isn't something fair to work with considering Diamond, even in RL, is nowhere near as truely expensive as the market makes it.

So that makes it a good comparison considering how, as a government, the company could control the market price.

Were not talking dollars or conversions, there really is no way to convert it anyway to real life value.

But in game value, well I think flying to an Alterra station is just a bad idea all together, go sell that escape rocket for 10 billion Trillion Zillion Mcgillion chequages to some terrorist mob first, LOL, then go pay bill and live in luxury, heck maybe even buy your own little ship to live in !

And the value of a diamond may change significantly. If say they found a planet of pure diamond the value would drop
