Total cost of Subnautica (SPOILERS AHEAD!)
Hello. I did a ton of research, and I have concluded that the metals used in just the Neptune rocket (not including the ion cubes) cost a total of $640.698.57 USD, as of today's metal prices. I am now curious if the total cost of all materials used in a regular playthrough, with a a 10 base piece sized base, would be enough to cover the $1,000,000,000,000 debt Ryley has at the end of the game. Collaborate with each other, figure out the amount of resources required, and tell me the results. (Tell me if there are not enough details in this description. I will be happy to clarify anything needed)

There is literally no details in your description.

Also "640.698.57" is not a valid number for a currency. Did you mean 640,698.57?

I've always assumed that everything Ryley constructs using Alterra's resources just runs up his debt further.

After all, he's made a free consumer choice to indulge his 'aggregate survival demands.

Of course not. Ryley couldn't possibly create that kind of debt....especially considering everything he used for fabrication can be salvaged. He did the work for them basically. It's just another evil greedy corporate scam to keep him enslaved to the company for the remainder of his life. And, they'll probably carry that supposed 'debt' over to his kids too....thus enslaving them for the rest of their lives. Hmm....kind of sounds like many of our governments today....drive the cost of living up so high that you have to go in debt in order to live a comfortable lifestyle. NOW, you're a slave to the system trying to work off that debt.....only to fall further and further behind.

Then when you die, Uncle Sam sticks your kids with the bill for your funeral and takes back everything you worked your life for...... kind of like how we buy a peice of property but, then have to keep paying rent on it to keep it....oh I mean 'property taxes'..... which we have no control over how high they drive that tax because they just 'inflate' the so-called 'Fair Market Value' of your home to ridiculous numbers in order to squeeze more out of us even if we did manage to protest a lower tax rate--which NEVER happens. Like my land value for property tax purposes somehow tripled in value from last year? Who decides this crap and what justification do they have to say my tiny little 1/3rd of an acre lot is now worth 3x what it was last year? Who in their right mind would pay $175,000 for 1/3rd of an acre of land? And, I live out in a nowhere town struggling to keep business's afloat.....like a total of 5 stoplights in my town for reals.
