Hmm. You should have been able to complete this quest, as long as Lyn is an active member of your party and you visit the inn taproom before heading to Taymoor Ruins.

I am assuming you started this game in a recent build like 0.7.x or newer and you are in story mode, right?

If all that was the case and it still didn't happen, it sounds like a bug.

You can email me your save file, zipped, if you like and I'll look into it. If it's right after talking to her in the temple and before heading to Taymoor Ruins to check it out, even better. That will help me see what went wrong.
