Item Prices
I am enjoying the game so far, with over 7 hours play time. I completed the main quest, 5 or so contracts and some mail delivery jobs.
My party is all at level 8.
I have only 1500 farthings. I have bought 2 horses at 600 gold each. I have bought some cheap equipment and supplies only.
The prices for most combat or defensive equipment seem incredible high, compared to how many farthings I have amassed in 7 hours of play. Many of these are several thousand for just one item.
It appears that I will never be able to afford most of these.
Can you reduce some of the prices?

Of course. The economy is subject to change, as are item prices. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated, since the economy hasn’t been discussed much. To be honest, most things haven’t, given how busy the past couple of months have been with all the major game releases.

That said, this amount of wealth does seem s bit low. Did you hunt any bandits/fight any arena battles? As an adventurer, your biggest source of income comes from trading the loot you find, and there’s plenty of loot outside of peaceful activities. The higher the level of the enemies you fight, the better the gear they carry. Good places to start are the bandits around Valetport and the arena in Valetport itself.

Thanks for that advice, Raven. I haven't tried any Arena battles yet, as I was worried about dying and losing all my progress.
As per my other post on Dying, I am no longer afraid to try out the Arena battles.
I assume the Arena and Bandit battles around Valetport are fairly easy.
Will give them a go.
