Right now, who would play this over [insert latest AAA title here]? I’m not aware of any videos other than a few development journals of my own, but it’s unlikely that many exist. Such links usually find their way onto Steam or our Discord, even when YouTube searches come up empty.

Personally, I could make videos, but I haven’t created any playthroughs yet because the only available mode in the game right now is story mode, which involves a lot of reading and inevitable spoilers.

An early iteration of the sandbox mode is already in beta and will be available to everyone soon. If any videos are made, they will probably come after that—at the very least, I plan to make a few.

i just uploaded a video of the current race and background options at character creation. Also currently making a play through of the current alpha to show more of the game.

There are a TON of people who play indie games out there over AAA games. Even if it's a really overlooked game you still see playthroughs by people. I'm thinking the heavy dialog makes it a difficult game to stream or make a youtube series. I most likely will pick this up those as I love your games and have them all.

Yeah i have thought about it, but i have small children and they can be loud sometimes and didn't want them pop in the audio.

If I may make a suggestion that references a different game (If you do not want me to mention other games, feel free to edit the post to remove the name, but it is another genre).

Search for the game "Ostronauts" on YouTube. An LPer that plays Ostronauts, will likely play your game as well (It is also in EA).

Thanks, Flagyl2. This is a very nice list to keep an eye on! I did send some keys to a few relevant YouTubers early on through Steam's Curator program, but honestly, it was way too early. Splattercat, for example, should have a key, and I wouldn't blame him for passing on the game back then. It's been a busy time for both gamers and YouTubers, and this isn't exactly typical YouTube material.

I'll be adding a free demo version soon, which should make it easier for more YouTubers and other interested folks to check out the game if they want to. As for paid marketing, well, that's outside my budget.

I was pretty pleasantly surprised and I might do more of a play through in the future. Really the only thing making me hesitate is I hate reading to people on stream and this game has a TON of text. Great for a story-game... awful for my voice on stream :)

There’s a free demo on the store page, now with a more prominent green button. You can try out the game for as long as you like and see if it’s something you’d enjoy supporting or not.
