Hi Devious, it doesn't fail because you're walking through Llanford's gates. It fails because you're doing so without an essential "piece" needed to pursue the quest. You need to have Jocelyn as a companion and have completed the quest to escort her home in order to see this one through.

I did bring her home? She says she needs some time to process things for herself and walking back onto the tile didn’t give a new event with her.

Did she choose to become your traveling companion and came to Llanford with you, or did you part ways at her cabin?

Part ways at the cabin, I’m guessing I had to choose the first option that says let’s met at Llanford’s gate later. Guess I’ll do this stuff with another character, thanks for clearing things up.

Might be good to explain why something failed if it's giving people confusion.
