Hi MadYeti, none of these options apply. All tile interactions appear on the right panel. For the market, walk on the tile, then click at any merchant on the right panel during daytime. For the inn, the same, then click the inn icon. If you're not in the correct tile but have discovered it, use the shortcut action from the bottom toolbar to fast travel. If you don't know where it is, ask the locals for directions through the right panel.

If you're in story mode, you need to progress the story a bit before the inn and market unlock. So, just follow the tasks in your journal.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't seeing the panels on the right when moving onto the hexes in the town, as you described. I was able to figure out why, eventually. I did NOT complete the front gate quest, I just walked into the city. When I did that, none of the hexes showed any interactive panels on the right side.
