Don't worry about money. Farthings come while you level up. Meanwhile here are some options to gain money:

- Maybe you're the long lost heir of a recently deceased rich noble? (Cheating)
- Kill bandits/undead/vampire or even other adventurers
- Buy low/sell high (buy *abundant*/sell *scarce*)
- Pickpocket
- Blackmail
- Contracts
- Arena

As for starter tips, i find Perception & Survival quite useful skills for exploring/harvesting. Also you get bonus loot with higher Perception. More tipps:

- Don't wander too far early on
- Use Explore as often as you can
- Talk to NPCs in cities/hamlets
- Check vendors frequently
- Don't buy weapons/armor early on, you will find better/equal
- Craft tools from raw materials instead of buying them
- You can also get tools/materials from exploring/camp duties
- Check contracts, some offer useful rewards
- Rest when fatigued
- Use camp duties
- Don't forget about Skirmish & Parley, it can save your life
- Get a healer and/or tank in group or at least some healing skills/items PER char
- Use consumables
- Have fun

Add use summons, summons+range. If you have skills to improve the durability even better. Check out if an enemie has summons. Best counter for that is to wait until they use it and summon you own to disband the enemie summon (only one summon of same type can be active). Enemie will attack the summons, and this with their best attack with large coldown time, makes the fight easy.
