[SOLVED] Some graphic options do not appear in the launcher on Linux. Bug, or intended?
EDIT 3: The default control theme (and possibly the window theme) were at fault, as they failed to visibly outline the "missing" elements. To fix this, simply change them to themes with better contrast. Thank you, wyldrose!

As the image depicts, the graphics menu, selected resolution, and option to enable/disable windowed mode do not appear in the launcher.

My system specifications:
  • Laptop model: ASUS K55A
  • GPU: Intel Integrated HD Graphics 4000
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3210M @ 2.50 GHz
  • Monitor: Generic PnP (from laptop)
  • RAM: 6 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798 MHz (Brand unknown; from laptop)
  • OS/Linux Distro: Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon 64-bit
  • Desktop Environment: Cinnamon 2.8.8
  • Linux Kernel version: 3.19.0-32-generic
  • OpenGL version: 3.0 Mesa 10.1.3
  • X. Org X Server Version: 1.15.1
  • GTK version (used by Cinnamon): 3.0
  • Window Manager: Muffin

I am somewhat new to Linux, so I apologize if I am missing any important information or logs. Even so, I know how to access syslog and xorg.0.log, which I will provide if necessary, and am willing to follow instructions to access any other required form of information from my system.

EDIT: After playing Levels 1-1 and 1-2, I can confirm that the potential bug does not seem to affect gameplay or any other form of in-game rendering.

EDIT 2: Added window manager and GTK version.

I'm an experienced Mint user and know just what the problem is here (spent months figuring it out for myself last year). It's not actually the game or Unity3D, it's the display theme in Cinnamon. All the options are there, they just aren't being outlined into visibility. If you go into System Settings -> Themes and change your Window Borders and Controls options to something higher contrast than the defaults (I use Bright and Adwaita, respectively), then you should be able to see the Unity3D options.

Ah, then must be an issue with those themes!

For me, changing the control theme alone restores visibility of the Unity3D options, but I do not know if the window border theme would affect the launcher for other Unity games. Regardless, thank you very much for your assistance! I will take note of this for future reference.
