It's a game of logic. Similar to sudoku. You have to use logic to figure out if a hex should be blue or not. The first few levels are tutorial and teach you the rules. Just remember that it's about logic, not guessing.

Look at the numbers. What could be true, and what couldn't?

Oh, and this type of puzzle game is one for patience, not just quickly clicking everywhere like some puzzle games. You'll have to sit and stare for awhile before the solution hits you.

First of all, this game is nothing like sudoku. A more accurate way to describe it would be that it's a game that has its roots in Minesweeper that also applies mechanics/rules from nonograms and kakuros.

Second, you make it sound a lot harder than it is. Once you understand all the rules, you can quickly solve most of it. Maybe it was easy for me but I don't think that a normal person would take more than 35 minutes on each level.

I noticed there was no actual text description for when there is a -3- in the cell. Tho I assume you're just supposed to figure out that the 3 bombs aren't consecutive.

Sometimes the rules don't seem 100% consistent to me though, but maybe I'm just missing something.
For instance, when there's a {3} for the column, then it seems like the 3 bombs have to be consecutive but its ok if there's a gap between them, just not a number.
But when there's a -3- for the column, they shouldn't be allowed to all be consecutive, but it seems like sometimes they _are_ consecutive except for a gap (no actual number between). Which way is it supposed to work?

We can use the level 6-3 as an example for this. (The one with concentric hexagons)

Here we can see {x} and -x- numbers going and not going tthrough blank space.

The {6} that is at the middle top has blank space between every cell but the {} indicates that there'll be no empty cell between the "bombs". So, you should think abaout it as if there were no blank space between the cells, as if the column had its cells all together.

The cells corresponding to the bottom left and bottom right {4}s are all together, no blank space between cells. And so are the 4 bombs in each of the 2 lines

The cells corresponding to the -4- that is two steps right from the top {6}, those have blank space between every cell except for two. Here. 3 of the bombs are together but the other is 4 empty cells away from them.

The cells corresponding to the -2-s that are at the most right and the most left columns, are all together, no blank space between them. One column has 2 empty cells between its 2 bombs, the other has 3 empty cells between its 2 bombs.

So, in the end, you have to think about lines and columns as if they had their cells all together, ignoring the blank space.

Remember that you can click the number and a line will appear to indicate what cells "belong" to that number.

Now that I think about it, I have to add that, when a number is inside a cell, that affects only the cells that are actually next to it. In that case you do have to take in account the blank space.
