Question about upgrading weapons
If I am on the 1st wave, select my weapon for the 1st version, if I click on the upgrades (even if i don't have the money) will the gold still apply when I am on the 2nd version and have to upgrade station open?

Nope you can only buy upgrades for the player that is currently active. So the 1st player clicking in the upgrades screen won't use any additional gold or buy extra upgrades when you are the 2nd guy.
