HTC Vive Support in the Future?
Hey, i just wanted to ask if you plan to support the HTC Vive in the future? I loved playing your game with the DK2 but i think with 2 motion controllers it would be even better!

Greetings

We actually have Razer Hydra support when in VR, but the tracking on those things was so bad that only the gyroscope is used. When the tracking did work, I found I didn't hold my arm out and aim like a gun, I used my wrist to tilt the gun anway. Strangely it was just better to use the gyroscope.

The wild west of DK1 & 2 was fun, but we're going to sit it out for a bit and see how things shake out.

Yeah the razer hydra was pretty bad, but it was the only thing available in that time! Did you try the HTC Vive?

I haven't tried the Vive yet. I'm curious to see how first person shooters will be handled (or if they will even exist). I believe the launch titles will be stationary turret style games (Arizona Sunshine) or blink teleporation for movement (Budget Cuts). Hover Junkers does seem like an exception, but since it's in a vehicle it isn't a full counter-strike or quake style FPS.

You need to try the Vive!!!

Your game will be perfect for it. Add an element that makes standing and room scale people duck and it would be one of the best available games - seriously!

This is day two of me having my Vive and I've purposefully come to your discussions area to find out why/when VR will be added to your game :)))

As for trying an FPS - get a Vive and try the Budget Cuts demo - physically tossing a virtual dagger up in the air is exceptional - physically throwing the VR dagger at a robot feels fantastic - physically bending over and plucking the VR dagger out of the robots back is cool - physically ducking behind a VR wall is fun.

The Vive is 10x an Oculus Rift interms of feeling like you are in VR.

We watched Giant Bomb's Vive coverage where they played Budget Cuts. It did look like they were really enjoying it. They even said the movement becomes natural after a while.

I am a huge fan of TimeRifters, and this would be great with Vive support!

Bummed to hear this. I LOVED this game with the DK2. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Vive support in the future, even if it's seated with the mouse and keyboard still

I really enjoyed it too with DK2. In fact it was one of the better experiences I had with the headset! Would be even better on the Vive :(

I would LOVE Vive support for this title (even WITHOUT tracked controllers, but ESPECIALLY WITH). Hell, I'd even be willing to pony-up for a reasonbly priced Consumer VR DLC offering, if that makes any difference to ya. I've setup a Straw Poll (https://www.strawpoll.me/10027752) to see if anyone else would be interested in paying for DLC that would add-in support for my precious Vive. I've cross-posted the same poll to /r/Vive over on Reddit, as well (https://redd.it/4g4plu).

I'm not signing up to a website to agree with you. So I'll just say it here - I agree to paying more for VR DLC.

(I just went and voted at the site, I assumed I would need to sign up, but didn't)

Oh, yeah. God, that place would be USELESS if people had to sign up. :) Sorry, maybe I should have been clearer. Thanks for voting! :)

Personally I'd like to see this game re-released sometime in the not too distant future. I wouldn't mind paying for it again if that meant support for Vive, Touch, (Sixense maybe, if it's even released). Also rebalanced with an interesting teleport system. Also tack on a few more levels and I think it would be an easy buy for most of the VR crowd.
