Error: data file corrupt. Please reinstall application
Today, 21-11-2021 I can't play. I'm not the only one with this problem, but many people who downloaded the game from steam have this problem.
How is it resolved?

I have the same problem, I have also tried uninstalling and then reinstalling clean, renaming the srs folder to mygames, but nothing doing. I think it's a problem with the latest Steam update, before that it always went!

run steam as a administrator still says that, I wonder if GIANTS Software can fix a few bugs in the game

I reinstalled the game 10 times, reinstalled the entire Steam client, deleted the save data (saved the main one) and launched Steam itself as an administrator - the result is the same. I contacted GIANTS Software technical support - they only advised me to reinstall the game as administrator... Maybe this is a cant in the Steam client, or maybe a cant because of the FS22 release. Hopefully GIANTS Software can fix something as all players have the same error.
