[HEAVY SPOILER] who did you arrest?
hi everyone.

i just finished the game and once again really liked it.
now to the main topic:

i did arrest all three suspects. heres my reasoning:

- suspect no.1 is quite obvious: they are a enemy spy who tried to steal secret military documents. ==> arrest

- suspect no. 2 is imo also quite easy: they were willing to exchange secret military documents to some random person on the internet. a person with this experience should know, that you dont trade military secrets for some photos.

- suspect no 3 is a tricky one, where i had to think about it for a moment. on the one hand there is enough plausible deniability for the suspect, that he didnt know anything about this. on the other hand, they still have some kind connection to the spy. in the end i decided to arrest them, under the assumption, that they get questioned by the police and/or someone from the military and probably get freed.

love to hear who you did arrest and with what reasoning.

also a question to the devs: will the (possible) future game taking into account if you arrested Freddy´s girlfriend ?

I feel like there's no evidence that suspect 3 knew what was going on. I just went by innocent until proven guilty. If suspicion was brought up in the other suspects interviews then they would be brought in for questioning rather than being arrested. Why I took it this seriously, who knows.

I arrested 1 and 2. Number 3 seemed to be completely in the dark about what was happening. I went back and checked to see how number 3 would react if they were arrested and they were completely confused by the whole thing.

Yeah, I also arrested 1 and 2, leaving 3 for the same reason as Gemmycakes and YdenMkII mentioned.

I did feel a bit bad about 1 mostly because of Freddy, but kind of hard not to arrest her. Feel like there was no excuse for 2 though. Even if you ignore the military secrets thing, she was had a harsh parenting style and literally broke in and stole something from #3.

all 3... i'm a duck detective, not a duck policeman.

All three, #3 would have to had some idea of what is going on considering their laptop was constantly being used to set the whole thing up (the final set of deducktions illustrations kinda helped me make my mind up on it too). 1 and 2 are rather self-explanatory even though it would hurt those closest to them.

I decided to arrest #3 and let the other two go.

I arrested the influencer cuz he annoyed me
let go of the first one cuz she cute
let go of the 2nd one cuz shes a mother
I did 1 and 2, but not 3. Do all options lead to the ducks arrest as well?

I arrested 1 & 2, let go 3.

Also making Freddy cry is a crime in itself :(

+1 Gemmycakes reasoning.

And the true moral of the story? Don't ignore court correspondence, Eugene! (I like that this came up if you always talk to Freddy every chance you get as you play through...)

Arrested numbers 1 and 2. I didn't find evidence that suggested number 3 was guilty.
Arrested Number 1 and 2. There really wasn't any reason to arrest #3, they didn't really commit a crime, other than sending racy photos.
still, a very fun game, was nice story. Can't wait for more.
All 3 with the same reasoning as OP. It's an arrest, not a trial. 1 and 2 are obviously very guilty of some serious crime, 3 isn't on the same level.

I find it interesting to compare the arrest percentages with those of the first game, since there #3 was basically unaware of the crime going on, yet their percentage was significantly higher than #2, who did know and personally manipulated #3. Always thought that was odd.

Anyway yes next case please let's go play frisbee with Freddy!

I think there is no way Boris was unaware of what actions he performed, since salami smuggling required his proactive participation and repeated travelling through customs so only way for him not to know he is breaking law if he is insanely gullable and naive so he belived his co-conspiritors over actual law, which is possible but pitifully not an excuse. Essentially in first game third guy was analogue to a guy who is payed for setting up dead drops.

In second game only thing influencer did was unknowingly emply disguised enemy spy and not notice Katja machinations behind his back. I don't think there is enough proof to charge #3 even with being accessary, let alone accomplice as #3 literally had no reason to believe Katja was doing anything outside of role she was taken to.
