Instead of purchasing FaceRig, I recommend you to download our new software - Animaze. It was built on a whole new engine, with updated face tricking (and an integrated feature through which you can use an iPhone as a camera), a lot more avatars, and a lot of options for lip-synching too (they are all free to try and use). It comes with Live2D already installed and there are more ways through which you can customize your avatar (it also has an option for customizing base male and female avatars so that you'll be able to have a personalized avatar that matches your personality). It is also easier to create 3D avatars for Animaze than it is for FaceRig (you'd still have to create them in a 3D modelling software, though). You can read more on that here: https://www.animaze.us/manual
However, it does not have a meerkat avatar (neither does FaceRig, for that matter)
It has two subscription tiers, but the main features are present in the free tier.
That being said, FaceRig will be removed from Steam at the end of this year, but users who still have it can still use it.
