A mac version has already (many, MANY times even) been confirmed.
HOWEVER, in the latest COMMUNITY poll on the subject, there was a greater interest for a mobile version to be first, followed by mac and linux versions.
Once the mobile version is up and running smoothly, work will start on the next platform (possibly pre-dated by another poll for mac or linux first

When we made a community poll asking which version should we make next, the mobiles won (iOS and Android), so right now we will release pretty soon the mobile version, after that we will consider a Mac version.
