Disable camera when tracking off?

I have searched everywhere but I'd like to use my camera on two programs but I can only use in one at a time. I was wondering if a feature could be implamented where when tracking is disabled facerig could disable use of my webcam to make this possible. It would also make usage less when I am doing something where I don't have a webcam displaying but I don't want to shut down the app to launch it again in 5 min. Just a suggestion because I'd rather not buy two cameras to accomplish this. Thanks!

Hello, thank you for your suggestion. It's a good one. Right now our engineering bandwidth is all taken up by other projects and we'll keep it in mind for when it will be freer.

Right now, what you can do, as a workaround, is install a free software like ManyCam (which I have installed) and, in the Advanced UI > Advanced Tracking Configuration > Input Device select ManyCam in the Webcam drop down list (make sure that ManyCam is closed so it won't use the web-cam). This will set ManyCam as the primary source for web-cam input and will free your actual web camera. This workaround has a bit many more steps, but will not force you to close FaceRig each time you want to use the web-camera elsewhere.
