Being able to select Camera SOURCE from the PIP - FEATURE
I read the many posts about trying to get this to work with Manycam and such. Non of what I read however I may had missed the one article that answers my question and mentions this feature...

While I can in fact select FACERIG Virtual Camera in any third party program I prefer to use as my camera controller... Once I select FACERIG as the source, all face tracking STOPS. Only the voice activated portion is used.

When I look at selecting from FACERIG not the third part software for my CAMERA we do not even get that option.

So when I look in options withion Facerig I get no place to select my INPUT camera for face tracking.

This means that the input camera is the same as the output camera on my third party software... This is in effect pointless, and renders FaceRig useless to me for my form of usage.

What I expected was to be able to be tracked while using any other output method (ManyCam, WebcamMax and so on...

I am trying to post this in a way that is NOT a repeat of anything so far that I read. I am trying to make clear that the program DOES WORK, just it will not allow me to use the trackinf CAMERA while I output to my live audience.

So in case I missed something above:

TRACKING CAMERA - needs to be a selectable source from within the tracking PIP and OPTIONS for Tracking Camera SOURCE (INOUT CAMERA). Nothing can unselect this as a source except the user.

So as it is now it goes from tracking camera to the OUTPUT cource I use on Manycam or Webcamax rendering the tracking function useless as the camera turns off and no longer tracks.

What I am asking for is the ability to choose the tracking camera from a frop down menue. And, keep it that one until I change it. That way when I switch to my third party software to select an output source, it shows only the out put of FACERIG likle what is shown in the video, no need to hide all the controls, and such. It outputs a GUI free output.

I will restate, I ,ay had missed the one post that answers this and if so I am sorry about that. A link to iut would be awesome.

I am posting this as a suggestion in the event it is a new idea. If not, please redirect me to the answer. Thanks.

Hi there,

In order to select your webcam in FaceRig you need to switch to Advanced Ui- Advanced Tracking config- ULSee- Input device and select your webcam.
In Manycam or other 3rd party software you will need to select FaceRig Virtual Webcam
Make you have installed, or reinstall it just in case. Go to steamlibrary/steamapps/common/facerig/bin/prereq/facerigvirtualwebcam and install the one for your system.
Hi, IMPRESSED again. Very well thought out program. Thanks for the help , was able to find the settings a d change them. I can't wait to use this in my live online broadcast. :)
