And not trying to mock, but the only system-type where Linux is first (acording to this[en.wikipedia.org]) is supercomputers (funny idea though, trying to run FaceRig on a supercomputer, it then might be able to track multiple people, if it had multiple camera's :P)
(servers on the internet not counted because of the high error margin)
Probably a bit biased, since Android is a Linux distribution, most flat screen TVs, set top boxes, and internet servers (including Valve's) run Linux. And, oh, yeah, the Steam Box (which, honestly, surprises me that Valve doesn't make a Linux port a requirement for new titles on Steam at this point).
Oh and on the whole Linux thing, I use linux at a higher frequency than Windows for my serious work to be honest, I do all my coding and 3D modeling in Linux because it is easier to install programs, you don't hunt down an installer on the web, you literally just type in what you want installed and it does it for you from a safe source and it leaves more system resources for other programs. All Windows is really good for (for me that is) is Netflix and playing games, because DirectX only runs well on Windows and right now Netflix doesn't run on Linux because they say so.
And Valve hass been re-building their games to work in Linux. They've released some news about a tool they developted that converts DirectX games to OpenGL titles so they can run natively on any system that supports OpenGL. Oh yeah, and Mac is even based on Linux, PS3 is Linux, CNC macnines are Linux, routhers are often Linux; Linux is everywhere because every component it is completely free to use.
