Because why are you asking for nearly 20% more, just because I live in a different country?

Nearly all games are like that on Steam due to a combination of currency, wages, and/or taxes.

If you make the currency conversion from euro to USD you will see that the price for Europe is higher and that mainly because of VAT (Value Added Tax) which has to be paid on all European sales (it is the law).
