The reason being that computers can much easier track "dots" or "markers", allowing for their tracking to be used in other programs, which is only allowed in the yet to be released Studio version of FaceRig.
So I'm quite sure that Holotech COULD do this, but I'm not sure if they are allowed to do it. One of the reasons FaceRig is so cheap are those restrictions, as normally it would cost $100+ per month, instead of the current $10 for a single time purchase.
Again, know that this is partly guess-work from someone not part of the development team (Holotech Studios) so until they confirm/deny this, nothing can be taken as facts.
If that is the case, I hope they can find a way around it, somehow, but I would certainly understand if they can't.
We will further discuss this with the owners of the tracking libraries maybe we can reach a compromise :).
Would like to let you know that you can now see the tracking landmarks (from our ULSee tracker) for the contours of your face and your eyes+gaze direction
