Avatar position is still not correctly saved or loaded
TL;DR: Saving an avatar config, via ctrl-shift-# does not appear to correctly save the avatar position on screen, nor the background position.

A previously locked report (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/274920/discussions/2/617321352387544150/) appears to still be a current bug.

Repro steps:
Select an avatar
Move them up or down a noticeable amount (any direction really, but up and down is easier to see)
Save via the quick save to a free slot (I've been testing with ctrl-shift-'1')
Select a different avatar (anything will do)
Switch back to your previous quick save
observe that the avatar is now back in it's default position.

I am experiencing a similar issue with the backgrounds too: If I rotate via Ctrl to bring a different part of the background into view, it resets back to the initial background position when loading from a save.

I have enabled autosaving, and can confirm that other avatar customisations, such as props are saving and loading correctly.

I know it's a small thing, but it's a pain as some avatars are really quite poorly positioned by default.

Many thanks!

Hi, we have worked in the last couple of days on this and unfortunately we couldn't find a fix for this that didn't end up in creating other MAJOR issues.
We are also limited by time/resources and so, can't continue working on this for now.
We may come back to it in the future if we will expand the team.

All good Aty. It's a small issue, especially when compared to how excelent the rest of Facerig is! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it'll come off the backlog one day maybe :)

As a possible workaround, is there a way to edit the avatars (or create a new clone of an existing one) with a new "start position"? Ditto for backgrounds.

Hi, we don't have a workaround for the moment (:

Hello, any further advancements into this or a workaround for it?

Any progress on this?

Hello. This functionality is available on the FaceRig Studio version. However, since we have released Animaze (it is still in Early Access), we've decided that we are no longer going to update FaceRig unless some major Windows update breaks its functionality. That being said, I am sorry to say that this functionality will not be available on the base version of FaceRig (FaceRig Classic, that is).
