I can't move characters at all.
When I try to reposition the character its like they are locked dead center. If I try to zoom out or pan they jitter and I am forced to keep them dead center. Tracking and sync work but I cannot move the character.

What is the fix? Thanks.

If you only have a webcam, and not other sensors, then the body of the character should be moved by mouse and keys ( via pupeteering) . Your face should always be centered in the video feed for best tracking :).

See this guide for info :)

Thats not the issue. I cannot position the character/pan/zoom at all. While dragging it jitters and moves back to the center. I basically had to stop using Facerig because this keeps happening and there is no clear reason or button to disable/fix it.

Here is exactly what happens.

-Holding alt, I try to pan/zoom/move
-Character jitters and repositions to center

No matter what is enabled or disabled it just refuses to work.

Thank you for reporting it, We will look into it when the programmers return to the office In January . In the meantime you can try using the "previousversion" Steam Beta branch , in case this is a bug that has occurred on the latest update.

Hi there,

Can you rotate the character using ctrl + mouse? At a fist glance it seems that you might be having a sticky control key? or pressing it by accident, which forces the character to rotate and pan at the same time, but rotate inevitably brings the character to the center of the screen.

If the problem still occurs, have a look at the key bindings (general settings -> preferences -> key bindings) and see if the second binding, "Rotate around the avatar" is set to MouseLB + Ctrl and not Alt.

Alternatively, if you haven't made any key bindings yourself, scroll to the bottom of the list and press reset to defaults.

Hope this helps.

Resetting worked, thanks a bunch
This is also not working for me and resetting does absolutely nothing... I can move my 2d by using alt and the pressing the mouse wheel. Although I cannot scroll it to size it smaller or bigger unless I have the AUI open for some reason once I close that it's stuck and will not work at all.
