FaceRig process failed to launch. Error code returned c0000005.
Good afternoon.
I bought this tool a couple of years ago for fun and toyed with it on an old laptop. Today I am attempting to use it in a semi-professional capacity (non-commercial YouTube videos) and find that it is returning a memory address error.

Now, from my experience with programming, that's a memory access error - an inexistant address being accessed by the program. This happens when I try to launch the tool through the launcher as well as directly, with and without administrator privileges.

I have tried both DirectX 9 and DirectX 11 rendering API options, and one might guess, it did nothing. I reinstalled all redistributables twice, and it did nothing. I restarted my computer and it also did nothing. I am running the laptop on performance mode. The Nvidia control panel is set to prioritize using the high performance card (MX110).

I suspect it might have to do with either:
1. An environment variable that Steam failed to apply - possibly because the tool was installed without administrator privileges enabled for Steam (though I did allow it to make changes to my computer)
AND/OR
2. The fact that the laptop, being a laptop, uses the MX110 for 3D and encoding while relegating other more menial tasks to a lesser (but more energy efficient) Intel GPU. Possibly an issue related to forcing it onto a non-default graphics processing unit? Don't know.

Specifications
I am using a Samsung Expert NP350XAA-XD1BR, with 8GB RAM and an MX110 graphics card with 2GB VRAM. Processor is an 8th gen i5.

EDIT: I am using Windows 10 64-bit, the previous laptop where it did work ran Windows 7 32-bit.
