Mouth tracking and facial hair

I am a white man with light brown/graying facial hair.
This seems to cause the face rig software to lose my mouth when it is closed.

Is there a suggestion to help me keep tracking on my mouth?
I've followed the calibration tutorial and fiddled with the settings, but unfortunately for me after a couple of seconds the tracker will move from my mouth to my chin.

I'm even willing to try lipstick, What would be a good color? Black, Red, Chroma green?

If the beard stands in the way of your lips, making them not visible enough, I don't think any shade of lipstick will suffice. That is one of the problems with trackers and beards - the mouth is somewhat obscured and so the tracker has a hard time recognizing it because of that.

You can try the audio lip-sync option, where the mouth will move based on the audio which you provide.
