FaceRig is hogging all of my cameras!
I have a bit of a problem where I want to give my camera to FaceRig for the face tracking and give my capture card to OBS to record a console game, the issue is that FaceRig is being a camera hog. FaceRig is "using" both cameras despite only needing one for tracking and if I give the game capture to obs before launching FaceRig, it just complains that it doesn't have both cameras and doesn't track, despite still having access to my ACTUAL camera... any ideas?

Sorry in advance if this is the wrong place, this is my first time creating a discussion on steam...

I don't have a capture card so I don't really know what's going on here, but does a capture card act as a video input device usually? Have you tried with different streaming software, other than OBS?

A capture card takes a hdmi input and turns it into a camera input, so it is essentially another camera... but yes, I've also tried using Discord to test whether i can use the camera with and without FaceRig running, but it is still claiming both cameras so other software can't use it...
Is there any way to disable one of the cameras in FaceRig so that it's only using the one that has my face?

In Advanced Tracking Configuration there's a list with all the available trackers that have been added to FaceRig. I'm not sure that you'll find the capture card there, but if it is, remove it. You get to Advanced Tracking Configuration by opening the advanced UI.

It could be that somehow the cameras are switched and that FaceRig actually uses the capture card and not the web-camera. You can select the input video device from the drop-down list that sits on top of the web-camera view.

I'm not sure what you're referring to... I have gone to the trackers page and found that there are two trackers; VoiceTracker and ULSee, with the only one i can disable being VoiceTracker. Under ULSee I have seen an option to swap which camera is being used for tracking (the webcam option) with "USB2.0 Camera" being my webcam and "USB Video" being my capture card. Having the video input set to "USB2.0 Camera" does not release my capture card and vice-versa...
I have edited together a screenshot with relevant drop down options shown:

Thank you for guiding me through it so far... If it's there and I missed it I apologise in advance :)

Those were the settings I was mentioning, yes. I'm having a hard time figuring out what's the cause. Have you tried re-installing the capture card's drivers, or updating them and see if FaceRig still thinks that that's a camera?
