Not Responding on start up screen
face rig wont get past the start up screen, just says "not responding" I know that there is a thing were face rig will take some time to build caches or something but don't think that would last upwards of 30 mins (I'm on a high end PC). Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi! There could be a lot of reasons for this happening. Please go to Steam\steamapps\common\FaceRig and get the VP.log from there. Send it by mail to info[@]facerig[.]com and mention this Steam thread in your mail so I know to whom the log belongs.

hey david its fine it was a app called epoc cam its used to make a iphone serve as a web cam so alot of people use it, my solution was installing manycam and running epoc threw that, just so u know in case some one else has the same problem.

Glad to hear you got it to work. Yes, EpocCam does something with the DirectShow filters on some systems and that causes FaceRig to either freeze or crash. There's no fix for it other than disabling it / uninstalling it.
