Take a look at this thread https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/274920/discussions/2/451850468375624974/ for black screen on input. It can either be that your webcam drivers are not up to date, some other program is using the feed from your webcam or that your webcam is not properly initialized.
I tried them, but I could not resolve.
>1. Another program is already using your physical webcam.
I checked with Process Explorer.
Webcam is used by only FaceRig.exe.
>2. Your physical webcam is not properly initialized (if it has a LED to show when it turns on, that LED remains off when FaceRig starts).
I tried to set parameters such as all resolusions on Advance UI options.
>3. Physical webcam's drivers are not up-to-date.
I updated to latest drivers.
Updating completed.
6.1.7601.18208 -> 13.51.823.0
The driver was certainly old, but it could not resolve.
How should I do?
Thank you.
Thank you!
Note: I'm not a part of Holotech Studios and don't have access to the mailbox, so I'm just going off of what you just said.
By the looks of the logs, everything is working fine, it's just that your options have disabled the tracking and hidden the webcam feed :).
Go to the Advanced UI (last option on the top bar from left to right), then enable the Tracker using the option Toggle Tracking (5th option from left to right on the Advanced UI).
To toggle the webcam feed back, use the Toggle Picture in Picture option (the 3rd option on the top bar from left to right).
I'm happy to enjoy it!!! How fantastic software, oh my god!!!
One problem with this disabling method is that it also removes it from Device Manager—Imaging Devices list. At least that is what I thought, until just now, when I found in the View menu an option titled Show Hidden Devices.
The moral of the story: If it looks like you have hardware that is not being recognised by the system, then check your Device Manager settings and ensure View—Show Hidden Devices is selected.
One issue with the Device Manager is that you cannot right-click the disabled device and select Enable Device in the context menu (in my case). You have to know how to enable the device elsewhere.
I hope this helps peeps.
