Face Rig Wont Launch :(
Hi I've been using Face Rig for one day fine.

Today I did the update and all worked ok. (Got the Turkey)

Now I've gone back to it and it won't open. Each time it gets stuck saying:

Performing first time setup.... (Installing step 1 of 2)

Waited for hours but nothing,

I'm running windows 10 on a mac via Parallels.

So new to windows therefore can you advise me on how to uninstall and re install Face rig or even steam.

Or is there another solution.

Hello.
We will look into it. In the mean-time what you can do is make sure the Steam client and facerig are not being blocked by windows on account of not being run with administrator privileges ( they need to be ran as such).

To clarify on the above (since you say you are not used to Windows that much:
Make sure that Steam is shut down
Right-click the icon of Steam
Select "run as administrator"
If requested input a username/password of an admin, else just click yes on a popup you might get.
Try to see if it works like that.

for me it is a somewhat similar problem.
during the very time consuming installation of the update, steam crushes without any error massage every time.
but taskmanager shows me 3 times launcher.exe from facerig, from which i can only kill one of the 3 processess...
when i restart steam, it says -obviously because of the 2 running processes- that the application is allready running.
