I had to search for what PC Matic was and I can say this about it: Get RID of PC Matic, it's junk and not worth your money, just take a look here:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/523305/pc-matic-whats-the-good-or-bad-word/
That site is a very trusted for ALL your PC/Mac/Linux/virus removal/hardware questions and a WHOLE lot more. (almost 3,5 Million posts in about 50-70 thousand topics)
3 Free but also very respected Anti Virus-replacements (Also listed on that site):
AVG[free.avg.com], Avast[www.avast.com] or Avira[www.avira.com]
With that out of the way, First try this:
Go to your Steam Browser
Go to the Software page (click below the library button on where it says "Games" or "Downloads", it's a dropdown menu http://i.imgur.com/fQ2kCTa.png )
Rightclick FaceRig in the list to the left and select properties
Go to the local files tab (third tab) and select "verify integrity of application cache"
Wait for it to complete and download any missing files (if there are any)
Then click "Browse Local Files" (first button in the same tab)
Go into the "bin" folder and rightclick "facerig.exe"
Select "run as administrator..." (even if you are already an admin)
Of it then still doesn't run these questions:
Does it give any error messages, and if yes, what are they?
Can you find a way to exclude FaceRig or the entire FaceRig folder from any Anti-Virus / Anti Malware software you may be using?
If you go back to the folder you first came when click the Browse Local Files link (the one with the "_CommonRedist", "Bin" and "Mod" folder) does that folder also contain a VP.log?
If so, open it with notepad, then go to http://pastebin.com and copy the contents there. Save the pastebin and link it to us here.
-EDIT: Also, moved this topic to the Bugs section-
And what did you do to solve it?
