Re-texturing props
Hello,

I wanna know if the re-texturing of a props was possible ? And if it's yes how. Because i already modify the headphones texture but when i apply the avatar tutorial that's isn't work :/

Hello, here is the data pack that allows you to edit the base diffuse textures for all bundled avatars (and some of the props too): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8KlsC2kpc7nS280bFdwV2F6OEE/view?usp=sharing and here is the PDF that contains info on how to use them: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B8KlsC2kpc7nRHJZNWJHY0lyWDQ&usp=sharing (it should be pretty simple: just edit them and place them in a certain folder – written in the pdf – and then, when you start FaceRig, the edited ones will be used instead of the stock ones).

If you are trying to retexture headphones01 from avatar01_accesories, you need to place the textures in the same folder, so avatar01_accesories/headphones01. Naming is very important, you are *replacing* the contents of already available textures.

You can't add a "new skin" this way, you'll replace the old headphones01 textures. Adding a prop is a completely different process and you can do it by following the community avatar/prop/background documentation.

I have do it like you can see but the doesn't change the headphone.

It's maybe cause because I try to put the headphone on "Apex" from starbound DLC no ?

And if it's that can I change the texture of the Headphone for all Avatar ?

the headphones01 placed in avatar01_accesories/ folder will make the prop texture customization available only for Fluffo.

The headphones01 re-texture process requires a bit of hacky stuff. The idea is that, the global headphones take the textures from Fluffo's specific headphones, but to activate it, you need to do the following: create a folder in <steamInstallDir>\steamapps\common\FaceRig\Mod\VP\PC_CustomData\Objects\accesories\headphones01 and add a distinctive .png file named ico_headphones01.png (256x256 resolution). This will trigger the global prop to refresh its texture from the customized avatar01_accesories\headphones01\ folder.
