In the past, you could use the Picture-in-Picture function to hide the avatar and display the original webcam feed as full-screen in the background, in effect passing the feed directly through the Facerig virtual webcam. (Listed on this page as "webcam feed box is full screen, taking the place of the avatar")

In the past, I could use this function to use my main webcam feed as default, and then switch to a Facerig avatar for a quick cutaway gag while streaming (like in this clip, for example).

However, at some point that feature was apparently removed, as the Picture-in-Picture option no longer allows you to do that (only allowing you to enable/disable the webcam feed box in the lower left corner). I haven't been able to find another way of passing the main feed through Facerig, so it's been very difficult to switch between my original feed and Facerig's display (requiring an extended setup of closing/opening Facerig and activating/deactivating my webcam feed in OBS every time I want to switch). As I've been forced to commit to either using one feed or another, I've had to put Facerig aside for the most part, only using it for extended gags or dedicated Facerig streams.
Is there another way of passing the main feed directly through Facerig, so that a user wouldn't have to switch cameras and close Facerig to "disable" Facerig and show the main feed to viewers instead?
You can find this toggle (which is ON by default) in General Options > Preferences > General > "Hide webcam feed while broadcasting".
