IRFaceRig is free to download regular FaceRig does cost money, but IRFaceRig requires you to own a hardware sensor that costs more than the base version of FaceRig, and a specific version of CPU. It also has less avatars in the default line-up than FaceRig does. Rest assured, paid FaceRig users are not at a disadvantage and nor are the RealSense users. Please take a look at the program features, you will see they are aimed at different markets . IRFaceRig is an easy to use free program for those who have already invested in specific new hardware. IRFaceRig does not support complicated operations such as importing custom avatars, nor does it have a Steam Workshop. Many more complicated features from the FaceRig's advanced interface do not currently exist in IRFaceRig.
